CBRE Capital Advisors acted as Financial Advisor to Round Hill Capital, a leading global real estate investment, development, and asset management firm with $7 billion in assets, for the development of The SIX13, a multifamily housing project in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
The new development will comprise 142 moderately-priced rental units of workforce housing in the Progresso Village district of Fort Lauderdale, FL, which qualifies as an Opportunity Zone under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 ("TCJA"). TCJA provides tax incentives for certain long-term investments intended to create growth in areas where it is most needed.
The SIX13 represents the first in a series of investments that are planned under a new joint venture between Round Hill Capital and Affiliated Development, a Fort Lauderdale-based real estate development firm.
